well thank you!
it's so fun to share these bits with you... i'm glad you're here.

today, more treasures from the kitchen in my favorite tones... whites.
this (larger here) is a mix of special gifts (etched glasses, heath ceramics mug, numbered plates 0–9) + self-bought handless mugs (the one in the upper right is handless because the handle broke but i still can't part with it; and you can see that i used my white forest pottery mug just recently!) + a $1 bin white/gold shallow bowl (i think i use this daily for fruit or salad or toast & jam) + yes, oh yes, that blue table!
one more quick kitchen day tomorrow. this is fun!
cheers, all.

I like how all these very different things become a set because you own them and have assigned them personal value. I like how they seem to "go" together because they have one person's taste in common. I love how this happens with a person's things.

i recognize that handless mug! it was made by my friend christa assad. she makes the best wheel thrown pottery and it feels so wonderful in the hands so i know why you would never part with it...(i own two cups just like yours though mine were made handless)if you ever want to get another for yourself here is her info.

Oh, this is fun! It is funny how with a kitchen full of things, one always seems to reach for the same few pieces. We are creatures of habit I suppose. I have a bunch of old etched glasses that I love ~ none of them match.
